LG will release Android-based tablet


Not to be outdone by Apple iPad, LG also plans to make a tablet computer as a competitor. LG said the tablets would be homemade-based open platform, Android. What is not clear whether Motorola will abandon Windows in tablet products as planned or will use Android as a complement.

One month ago, LG has showcased a prototype UX10 tablet. The tablet has a touch screen measuring 10.1 inches, use Atom Z530 processor, and has 1 GB of RAM.
